Badrinath is a sacred place which is dedicated to Hindu Lord Vishnu Bhagwan and Kedarnath is a sacred temple of Lord Shiva which is one of the jyotirlinga as well. eUttaranchal brought you 5 nights tour packages in which you can visit both Kedarnath Dham and Badrinath Dham. This package starts from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun as per your convenience at the time of booking. Due to Covid, we are organizing customized tours to Kedarnath only and NO group tours.

Day 01 : Haridwar - Guptkashi (8 hrs)
Drive 220 km Alt 1319 m

In the morning, meet our representative at your Airport/Railway Station/Hotel. Drive towards Guptkashi. Enroute, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Mandakini river at Tilwara. The Mandakini river originates from Kedarnath, and you'll drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi. Visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi. (Meals: Dinner)

Day 02 :Guptkashi - Sonprayag - KedarnathGuptkashi - Sonprayag - Kedarnath
Drive 30 km Trek 14 km Alt 3384 m

After breakfast in the morning, today we will proceed to Kedarnath. You have two options to reach Kedarnath: either by trekking or by air via helicopter (at your own cost).

 

Important Information: Read Carefully

 

By Helicopter: In the morning, our driver will transfer you to your designated Helipad location (Phata, Guptkashi, Sirsi, etc.) as per the helicopter ticket time. Please inform the driver of the timings mentioned on your helicopter ticket the previous day. Different aviation companies have different locations for their helicopter service. Our driver will provide you with pick-up and drop-off to your hotel. It's highly recommended to book your helicopter tickets in advance. Note: Helicopter Tickets are not included in this package.

 

By Trek: To reach Kedarnath via the trekking route, you first need to reach Gaurikund. We will drive to Sonprayag early in the morning after breakfast. Our car will drop you off at Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, a 5 km drive to Gaurikund is available, and guests can book a local jeep on a sharing basis directly at their own cost. From Gaurikund, it's a further 14 km trek to Kedarnath.

 

After reaching Kedarnath, visit the Kedarnath Temple. Check in to the hotel/ashram. Then, visit Shankaracharya Samadhi. Overnight stay at Kedarnath. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 03 : Kedarnath – Sonprayag - Guptkashi
Trek 14 km Drive 30 km

In the morning, you can explore nearby areas by walking at Kedarnath. Later, you can choose to reach Guptkashi either by trek or helicopter.

 

By Helicopter: Inform the driver of your approximate return time and helipad name according to the ticket when you leave for Kedarnath. Our driver will pick you up from the helipad and transfer you to your hotel.

 

By Trek: Inform the driver of your approximate return time. Once you reach Gaurikund from Kedarnath by trek, you can take a local jeep to Sonprayag. Our driver will meet you there. Due to parking issues, keep the driver’s contact number with you and call him when you reach Sonprayag so he can pick you up.

 

From Gaurikund to Sonprayag, you can take a local jeep at your own cost. Please arrange a packed breakfast from the hotel to start early. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel in Guptkashi. Overnight stay at Guptkashi. (Meals: Dinner)

Day 04 : Guptkashi - Badrinath (9 hrs)
Drive 220 km Stay Hotel

Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel upon arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims can have a bath in the Taptkund and then have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in the evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan - Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spots like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh of the Saraswati River” within just three kilometers of Badrinath.

Overnight stay at Badrinath. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)

Day 05 : Badrinath - Joshimath - Rudraprayag (7 hrs)
Drive 160 km Stay Hotel

After breakfast in the morning, enjoy the drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Along the way, visit VishuPrayag, Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, KarnPrayag, and NandPrayag for darshan. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)

Day 06 : Rudraprayag - Haridwar/Dehradun/Rishikesh
Drive 165 km
After breakfast in the morning, drive to Haridwar/Dehradun/Rishikesh. Rishikesh, known as the 'place of sages,' is a celebrated spiritual town situated on the banks of the Ganga. It is surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. Drop off at Hotel/Airport/Railway station. (Meals: Breakfast)
